Lost Connection Behaviour

Postby muscanto » 05 January 2024, 15:49

Would it be possible to update the firmware in the USB interfaces so that they would continue to output the last DMX signal in the event that the Software crashes? It's not often that the software crashes on me but sometimes it does and a large portion of my fixtures do not support staying at their last received DMX state. If the interface still has power, it could continue to send that last DMX state until the software re-connects.

When the USB com stops, the interface runs its standalone scene.
Without any previously uploaded scene, the DMX outputs are at 0.
We suggest you to upload a scene into your interface for standalone running.

Do all interfaces support this? How do I do this?

Can you please provide links to any documentation that would help with figuring out how to upload a scene directly to the interface?
