In order to help us to fix the problem, could you please try these two 3DView programs from this ZIP file: http://download.thelightingcontroller.c ... w/test.zip
and tell us the result ?

Could you please ?
1. confirm the version of the main program is 9.2.23
2. confirm the version of the 3D program is 5.2.1
3. tell how reacts the view when you rotate it with the mouse/trackpad
4. tell how reacts the view when you resize the 3DView program window
For the two last questions, if possible please post a video.

This should tell us more where comes the problem from.

1. Yes, I'm on version 9.2.23
2. Yes, it's running version 5.2.1
3. The 3D image reacts normally when rotated on the track pad.But since it won't completely fill the window, it will go out of frame. See video.
4. The actual 3D image stays about 1/4 the size of the window, and the image is always in the bottom left corner and cannot be moved.

I replied to your email with a screenshot video. I could not load it here or send it thru the imgbb site.

To do this, we suggest you to:
- rename the current program 3DView by "3DViewNEW" for instance
- copy the old 3DView program in the same folder
Once the test is over:
- delete the old 3DView program
- rename "3DViewNEW" back to "3DView"

I tried this and get a message that the software needs to be updated - see screenshot below.

By default, your Macbook OS blocks all programs (ZIP, APP) downloaded via internet.

There are two possibilities:
1. you change the security parameter in the system preferences to run the program
And after the test, you turn it back to its default state
2. you can run 3DView.app
either by holding the key "ctrl" pressed and with a mouse double click on the app icon
or with a right mouse click

The old version works! 5.2.0 looks and responds normally.

Thank you for this important info.

That would be great now if you could try these two other 3DView programs from this ZIP file: http://download.thelightingcontroller.c ... w/test.zip
and tell us the result.

FYI, these results should tell us if the problem comes from our recent development tools, or from the recent Catalina / Big Sur update.

We put a new 3D program in the fix file, and we think this one should work ok.

I just ran into the same issue when I updated to ShowXpress 9.2.23 and 3DView 5.2.1.

1). I am running multiple screens (2 HMDI connections of my mac, and the native screen on the laptop)
2). On two screens, everything seems to be fine and work like normal (The 2 HDMI connections specifically).
3) On the native screen, zoom and rotate and everything seems fine.
4). When I resize the 3DView window (change or maximize), the 3D image snaps to the bottom left corner and gets super small).
5). I can still rotate and zoom, but I can't see anything becuase the image is in the bottom left corner of the screen).
6). Putting the 3DView window back to either the HDMI window and resize the image and then everything centers up like expected.

I found this post which I think is describing the same issue, but I don't see a solution to the problem. Is there one?
