V9 Gobo Graphics Glitch

Hi Support

Found a slight graphics glitch with a few gobos in V9. Please see the video below:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nFMOGdnzrx4

FYI I demonstrate the glitch at about 30 seconds in.

This glitch only occurs with one or two gobos, but you can see it clearly creates a large, very strange reflection around the room.

I am running a NVidia Geforce GTX 960M, with the software running Open GL, in mode "Phong".

I brought this up in Alpha but forgot to post the video. Hopefully it is of some use to you now anyway :)

Regards

Tim H

I'm having the same issue with the gobo Z03748-12. However, I'm experiencing a slightly different reflection.
I'm running with Phong render mode (but the glitch is visible also in the other modes) on a Nvidia graphics card as well, Windows (64 bits).

@Gilles: V9 is now Beta, you can find it in the "Announcement" section https://thelightingcontroller.com/viewt ... f=2&t=5690 ;)

Yes we saw your first post and we already checked that.
In fact 3DView uses a known and recent 3D API to display the textures.
In other worlds, it just calls a function "show texture".

And unfortunately, we are not able to reproduce this problem with our 3D cards.

Could you please check the picture of the gobo with the problem, and confirm that it borders are 100% in black color (RGB = 0xffffff) ?
Or if you see any other difference with a working gobo, and a non working gobo.

Hello Support,
I noted that the border of Z03748-12 actually has a little white dot on the left-down corner.
While scrolling the other gobos I also noted that some other gobos (like SH5) have up to two corners fully white arising bigger reflections.
I'm attaching the original gobo files.

I'll try repainting the borders to see if that can resolve the issue

MSI intel core i7-6700HQ CPU 2.6 GHz
Windows 10
RAM 16 Giga
Nvidia GTX 970m
