Moving lights pan/tilt amplitude problems [fixed]

Postby djcaliente » 24 May 2016, 20:24

Hello - I am just starting to use ShowXPress and have imported my 455Z Moving Head fixtures into the editor and 3D View.

I have put my 2 moving heads on 2 square trussing but I am not able to get the beams of light to point download at the crowd level. The picture displayed is the furtherst I get them to point downward with having the X axis at 0 or 255. Any suggestions as to what I am doing wrong?

The personality file might be wrong.
Please, give us the link of the manual of this fixture, and post your lightshow.
We will check (and fix if necessary) the personality file.

From the looks of things does it seem that I am doing something wrong?

The link to your lightshow seems to be bad.

Anyway, we checked the personality file in our software's bank, and we found the pan/tilt amplitudes parameters are wrong.
Please do this:
- select the tab "Fixtures"
- double click on the fixture to open the "Edit fixture" window
- in the window "Edit fixture", in section "3DView" enter "540" for "Pan amplitude" and "270" for "Tilt amplitude"
- press "Save" and close the "Edit fixture" window
