How do I get my lights to show up in 3DView ?

I have a number of lights fixtures that have no images that look like the light fixture. How do I get my lights to show up in the 3DViewer?

It is not possible presently to customize the shape of a fixture in 3DView.
This requirement is in the TODO list (no forecasted date for this).

By Images do you mean images to come up in 2D view or do you mean 3D view objects? In the case of either, the software contains ALL of the files available.
Hope this makes things a little clearer.
