Head positions not matching 3DVIEW

Postby Cablecr69 » 29 May 2018, 14:59

Hi,

I have 4 Lixada Beam/Wash moving heads that are placed on the floor. I know that 3dview will only show the beam side of the light which is fine but the centre position on the steps editor.....shows the beams facing straight up to the ceiling...where as my lights are pointing flat to the right. These heads do have continuous y-axis which I also know you don't support but is there a way of setting the heads in 3dview to the actual head positions?

Thanks,

Chris

Yes, "tilt = 128" puts the head in vertical position
This fixture does not have a "standard" mode working like this ?

No.... I've attached pictures to show the light positions at centre point and picture of 3dview..... I can move the actual heads to the same position as 3d view and it will look the same but after reset I would have to do it again every time.

Thanks Again.

By physically moving the head into position it works fine.....i wanted to desgin shows without being set up by using 3dview...... so i can adjust the heads before starting if no solution is available.
