active window issue

Postby Bobnjul » 30 January 2019, 18:23

This is sort of an annoyance - not a bug, but something to consider, because it can often cause mistakes when operating in a live environment. Whenever I close a dialogue box, like immediately adding a button, I have to click on the somewhere in the Buttons window "reactivate" the window... so that first click seems to do nothing... while I am aware now that it happens, it's a real pain... and often causes some double-clicking of a button. i know in many other software programs, where there are sub-windows and pallet windows and such, that this problem doesn't happen. if this can be overcome, and that would fix one of the little nit-picky things that has bugged me over the years.

Appreciate the development team and that you usually acknowledge stuff like this.

Thanks for considering this.

So far, this is a rule forced by MacOS.

FYI, it works as you wish under Windows.
