MacOS Sierra

Here, with our Sierra, our software shows visual glitches, like for instance the focus is not displayed on the icon (toolbar, 2DView,...) when the cursor mouse is over the icon.

Could you please tell us if you have same visual glitches with your MacOS Sierra ?

@support: i just went searching to visual glitches as you described, but i don't see any.
But maybe i'm not looking on the exact same spot where you are seeing them. show me a screenshot if you like and mark on it where you see visual glitches so i can compare.

Please select the tab "Steps", and move the mouse cursor over the button "New scene" in the toolbar.

With "El Capitan", we see that

With our "Sierra", we see that

As you can see, under our "Sierra", our software does not see that the mouse is over the button, so the grey rectangle and the tooltip are not displayed.

Please tell us how about your "Sierra".

@support: what you show me is not a problem here. Checked it on my Mac mini and Macbookpro.

However, i found a visual glitch when dragging the right part under the tabs "fixtures", "Steps" and "generator" wider or narrower.
My mouse cursor than changes from arrow into "Move left or right" (see) and stays that way even when going to "Live" and hitting a scene button.
Only way to get the "Arrow" view back is hitting another button board or my desktop. This happens on both Mac's with macos Sierra and V.8.1.25.

Yes, we see the same thing here. It is in fact the same problem (mouve over new gadget is not detected).
We are working on it (not easy).

had a 'black-out' today with version 8.1.27. after 5 ours during a party :-(
Before it happened, i didn't touch my laptop or midi controllers for at least 10 minutes, suddenly it happened.

The software didn't crash, but all my lights went down. Nothing wrong with usb connection because i have hardwaregrowler installed and alway's active which warnes me immediately if usb connection should be lost of any of my four midi controllers.
Switched to my other emergency Macbook 11 inch laptop with sweetlight V.7.
Restarted my macbook 13 inch with V.8.1.27 and tried again one our later. Within 30 minutes same thing happened.

This didn't happen last weekend while using V.8.1.25. But i'm not sure, if i already used V.8.25 that weekend instead of version V.1.24, which was solid.

So i want to go back to V.1.24. which was solid two weekends ago.
Can i simply change the TheLightingController.app in my Application folder?

just download version 8.1.2.3 from http://download.thelightingcontroller.c ... weetLight/
dragged the folder to the desktop of my Macbook air 13inc desktop, started sweet light and got a message as seen on my screenshot. Everything is disconnected.

Dit the same on my DJ Macbook pro 15 inch, no problem.
How to deal with this on my 13 inch Macbook air, which i use for sweetlight?

@support: thanks.
I remember now why i was able to use the freshly downloaded V.8.1.23 on mijn Macbook Pro and not on my Macbook air this morning after the party.
On my MBP i had already earlier restored the “Anywhere” setting to Gatekeeper in Sierra with the Terminal command as seen in the tekrevue link you posted.

I'll stick with macOS Sierra and V.8.1.23 for now and will try it again at my next weekend-gig.
