[Yosemite] Unable to operate live via mobile app [fixed]

Postby omegalivesound » 03 March 2015, 16:41

Hi,
Showxpress was working great off my macbook up until recently when I decided to upgrade to Yosemite (now on OS 10.10.02) I have been unable to operate live via the mobile app since.
The program works fine just off the macbook itself, but now comes up with the error message 'Fonction : TCP/IP : Ext. App. listen error !' on startup when you check the box for app control since the os update, and comes up with 'unable to talk to live' after a while on the phone when you try and connect.
I have tried a fresh install of the program since updating but no joy.
I am really no expert on TCP/IP whatsoever, so any help would be much appreciated! Really need to get this running properly again for the weekend.
Regards,
James

This message means the OS does not let our software open a network server for the app "Live Mobile".
First, try to re-start completly the OS and try again.
If still not working, you can try another port (may be for an unknown reason, your OS blocks the default port).
The default port is "7348" ; you can try another number.
The port must be changed in both Live Mobile and the software.
- to change it in Live Mobile, please read this viewtopic.php?f=48&t=718
- to change it in our software, open the "Preferences" in the main menu, and select the tab "Network"
