The Lighting Controller

I have seen in this forum that the xfactor is not compatible with mac osx ... but i am able to get it to be recognized and have used it to control 4 moving head lights for about an hour. I did experience some weird moments where a random light would fall out of sequence and then catch back up. Not any one particular light. It would change. Not sure if this is from the xfactor or if I just have some old lights. No other problems so far...
Are there any known reasons why the xfactor box should not be used with mac osx?

I'm running showxpress version 6.20 on a Macbook Pro (intel) Snow Leopard 10.6.3

We tried to make it working under MacOS, but the processor of this interface is a bit slow.
This does not cause any problems with Windows, but this cause problems with MacOS.
Next version will not see this interface under MacOS.
